If he just kicks the FG in the 1st half instead of going for it this is all a moot point

We not talking about that kick we talking about the last drive in regulation for the Bengals

Why do they only rush 4. I know it worked there but they need to pressure Nix and then you don’t end up with a miracle

You all have it wrong… 1st and goal from the 6… broncos have 1 TO… kneel 3 times and kick with no time left. Telling your RB to run the ball on 1st down but don’t score!!! Wtf. Just kneel 3 times and kick to win or tie. Why even run an actual play on 1st and goal?

It was actually 2nd and goal with no timeout for Denver. Kneel on it on 2nd and 3rd down then call timeout and kick the FG. You could of ran the clock all the way down to less than 20 secs left and kick the FG

Good confirmation that Taylor fricked up. Your observations have less value than a peej hurricane forecast.

They called a timeout on the last drive, in case you were wondering if you were wrong.

QB sneak on 2nd down wasn't the right call. Fall into the O-line and go down on 2nd down, make them burn the TO. Try on 3rd down.

Bengals OL was blown up all damn day. Brown was out, so you're on a backup HB as well for 2nd and 3rd down. If/When you get stuffed on 3rd down, you have to defend a FG in 40 seconds and a TD beats you. You get the TD when you can't run the clock to under 20 these days, so it's either 2 pt or OT at the worst.

You still bleed the clock and kick the FG its Football 101 i know yall have a tough time comprehending that but its alright. And they still have to make the FG if they get in FG range. Plus there play calling is way different with less than 20 secs left than with 1:24 left.

Can you explain to me what I missed?

There was 1:29 left with Denver having one TO.

The best they could have done, take a knee, Denver takes a TO with 1:26ish

Run a play on third down and not score, clock runs to about 40 seconds

Kick it on 4th down, Denver has about 35 seconds to get in field goal range which is not at all challenging when you start at the 30

Scoring a TD 3 seconds later and making Denver use a TO is not that much of a better situation and you risk not scoring a TD at all

Zac Taylor sucks arse but this was not a dumb decision once Brown’s injury screwed them.

Yes they called TO after the 1st down play that got them to the 1 yd line. That was there last timeout. So Cincy had it 2nd and goal from the 1 and Denver was out of timeouts. In that scenario they could of ran the clock down to less than 20 secs and kicked the FG on 4th down leaving Denver with hardly any time on the clock

Higgins isn’t worth what they are paying him for one year although he did make the game winning TD catch. Chase is a FA after this season right?

I don’t know how you keep both of them.

It was 1st and goal from the 6 with Denver having 1 TO and only 1:39 left on the clock…. 3 knees brings the clock down to 15 seconds for a game winning kick…. That seemed to be the play. The injury at the 1 yard line should have never happened. The poor clock management occurred when they allowed a play to be run that wasn’t a kneel on 1st down
