Draisaitl has six goals in four periods against Vegas.

Draisaitl might shatter that this series.

Vegas looks more like Kiniggits than Knights so far.

Well, the good news is that it can't get any worse, right?

Right?

I don't possess the hockey knowledge of Don Cherry but I am pretty sure it is not a good sign when the other team has more goals than you have shots on goal nineteen minutes into the first period.

It may be one of those "take your lumps" games and just come back and see of you can take one of two in Edmonton and get home ice back. Then again, home ice in these playoffs has been a myth, at best.

In somewhat related news, the Rangers and former VGK coach Gerard Gallant have "parted ways." At least he wasn't dumped on the end of a bad road trip and forced to take a taxi home this time.

Someone tell the Oilers they haven't won the game yet. They have kind of gone into a bit of a shell and have been a little sloppy in this period.

As a VGK fan, this feels like it’s already an Oilers 3-1 series lead. The Edmonton crowd will be electric and we look absolutely listless. I’m not optimistic at all.

Easily the best game Skinner has played in the playoffs. I might even get off his back for a game or two.

Probably a good idea to keep Drasaitl and McDavid on the bench with the way Evander Kane is trolling the entire Vegas bench.

New Jersey Devils rookie defenseman Luke Hughes will make his Stanley Cup playoff debut Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Trailing 2-0 in the Eastern Conference second-round series, Devils coach Lindy Ruff announced some lineup changes heading into Game 3, and Hughes, who joined the Devils after his college season with the Michigan Wolverines ended last month, will slide in and replace Ryan Graves, a veteran who is out with an upper-body injury.

Looks like I'm going to have to hopscotch back and forth between the Devils-Hurricanes game and the Miami F1 race.

Unless devils score early I probably won’t switch off the Miami GP.
