Well, this is starting out as good for Carolina as it did for Dallas last night.

Anyone that falls back down after getting up from being hit isn't coming back into the game. That is a concussion protocol situation in all caps.

Carolina gets in position to take a good shot and instead of shooting when they get the opportunity they try for one extra pass or one extra deek and take just enough time to allow Florida to wipe out their entire scoring chance.

That was dastardly sneaky by Burns there. I wonder if he got away with it.

He fell face forward too. That was odd. Hope he is alright.

Edzo was right at the time, the Carolina goalie needed to keep himon the ice. Not always easy though as everyone (myself included) wants to get up as fast as possible after getting jacked up. It's not smart, but after a big hit, you/I aren't smart either.

LOL, Burns got away with it. That was brilliant in a Snidely Whiplash sort of way. Referee distracted by Tzakcuk , Burns nonchalantly notices Tzakcuk is straddling the stick Burns dropped and bends over to "pick up his stick." Which he does by bringing the blade straight up into the Tzaknuts. Then he looks at the ref and does this "What? I was just picking up my stick" performance.

I'm not sure whether the tac was a good pass or a bad shot.

You might be right, maybe just a throw to that area expecting someone to be home?

I don't think it was. Biz just called it a tic tac toe during the intermission report.

Also, TNT has such better coverage than ESPN. The intermission reports are so much better too. It's awesome to see The Great One Gretzky on set.

I'm not positive he wasn't trying to shoot and the puck rolled off his stick. That seemed to be what Keith Jones thought when he was commenting on the replay.

That's a rule I'm not sure I agree with on the high stick with regard to the follow-through of the stick.

That's a double minor under other circumstances if he bleeds like AHo did. You gotta have some control of your stick. I guess maybe that should be more a judgement call which I normally can't stand.
