With the 1st overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, The Cleveland Browns select... JOSH ALLEN, QB- Wyoming.

The Browns are getting a Blue Collar, Cold weather Quarterback with Elite arm strength. He has the build of a Big Ben, can scramble like Wentz, and can make every throw on the field.

They will work on his foot work and accuracy while he sits behind Tyrod Taylor and the Browns will develop their franchise QB the right way. No need to rush it.

REACH!

Just kidding - will be interested to see if Allen is a better fit, bc the consensus in the national media is that Darnold is their lean (may just be the pro day "bump").

Allen would not surprise me at all considering the Wentz model as you referred to, and the Todd Haley connection to Big Ben, etc.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Plus, they won't have to play whichever qb they take right away because they have Tyrod to bridge the gap.

Baker at 4??? We could increase our odds of actually hitting on one.

With the second overall selection of the 2018 NFL Draft, the New York football Giants select...

SAM DARNOLD, QB - USC

Gmen are thrilled the Browns took Allen, allowing Darnold to fall to them at 2. Eli has probably one year left. Sam can sit behind the two time super bowl champion and take the reins of Pat Shurmurs offense next year. New coach and new GM want to put their stamp on the current direction of the franchise. They get their guy, and have three other picks before 70 to give him some help on Oline and RB.

Other players in consideration for this spot. Bradly Chubb to replace JPP but he isn’t an exact scheme fit in our new 3-4 and thus not worth a number two. Barkley was also in the running, but a RB will never hold the same value as a QB and the opportunity to pick at two only presents itself seldom. The Giants can’t afford to waste an opportunity like this.

*IRL the Gmen trade back and stockpile more picks.

Nice pick! That’s what they should do IRL in my opinion

I meant to say thanks for that, but I’m frantically looking for trade partners to move into the second round. Need to pick a safety prospect that everyone has graded as undrafted

I think we cut it down to 3 last season

It gets real sketchy going any further than that
