The browns select HARRISON PHILLIPS (DT) out of Stanford with the 33rd pick. They are building from the inside out.
They traded away Danny Shelton and are beefing up their D Line. Phillips is 6’4 307 Lbs. He led Stanford in tackles with 103. Had 17 TFL and 7.5 sacks. Adding Phillips to the line with Garrett and Chubb gives the Browns one of the most talented young D-lines in the league.
Edit- he did 42 reps on the bench at the combine. Big boy is strong!

If you don't see or hear from Patton, I can make his pick.
I already know who I would take

Derrius Guice - RB LSU
Gmen get a bell cow and probably a top ten offensive player in the draft in the second round. We need help at rb and we get a potentially elite one for cheap and at least four years. I’ve got a good feeling about him. Think he’s got a very bright future.

He was my second choice to Ridley. Jonathan Stewart is a good pickup for the Giants. Ridley would be starting at WR with Shepard in 19.

The Browns take Joe Thomas’ replacement-
DESMOND HARRISON (OT)- West Georgia 6’6 288 Lbs
One of the most athletic Tackles out there. May be a bit of a project but has the athleticism to dominate a la Joe Thomas. They may not ask him to start right away but he could be a long term answer at LT.
“Boom-or-bust prospect who has elite length and athletic ability but is missing the consistency and resume of future NFL starter. Harrison's West Georgia tape is filled with jaw-dropping plays but he was overwhelming inferior competition and doing it without much technique. Harrison looked light on tape and his Senior Bowl weigh-in at 279 is sure to scare teams about his ability to carry enough mass on his frame. He has alluring athletic traits but he has to prove he can keep his weight up.”
-Lance Zierlein
Browns didn’t think he would fall to pick 64. IRL, I think they trade back and take him 10-15 picks later.

I thought about Ridley but I don’t think OBJ gets traded and then a starting rb is more valuable than a 2/3 reciever

With the 32 & 33 pick in the msb mock draft the Colts select.... 2 needs, a arse rusher and a running back
Arden Key & Nick Chubb
Key is Long-limbed with plus flexibility throughout upper and lower body. Uses long levers to find his way to the other side of a blocker's edge. Does a job of timing up snap for a head start. Plays slippery and is hard to keep centered. Disappears from blockers with upper body turns. Unorthodox movement confounds blockers.
Chubb Possesses a low center of gravity and strong base giving him natural balance to help stack yardage after contact. Has some pop behind his pads as a runner. Can attack edge with sudden, lateral cutback if contain falters. Has one-cut ability. Saw foot quickness and burst improve after sluggish 2016, post-injury effort. Has adequate acceleration to the edge and is effective with his off-hand at stiff-arming and separating himself from tacklers in pursuit. Shows proper level of discipline to keep runs between the tackles when called for rather than trying to bounce everything outside. Has footwork and feel to slalom through interior traffic and squeeze out hidden creases near goal line. Patient approach and runs with very little wasted motion. Ball security is a plus.

With their pick in the 2nd round of the NFL draft, the TB Buccaneers select....
Ronnie Harrison, Safety out of Alabama
Even low-key defensive coordinator Mike Smith couldn't stop raving about Harrison's physique. Said Smith after the combine, "you know, there might be other safeties out there that would be a better fit for our defense, but you can't tell me that any of those other guys have the abs like this guy does."
After confirming Harrison's rock-hard abs with Crimson Tide coach Nicki Saban, Smith was sold and was determined to make Ronnie his 2nd round draft choice to complete the rebuild project that was the Buccaneers secondary.

I'd trade it to you if I get on the clock.
You'd probably laugh when I don't take Ridley here.

Would Calvin Ridley be the oldest WR on the bears roster already
