I covered Rangers, Cowboys and Mavs games for Sports Network from 1986-1989. Bobby Valentine was the manager. Tom Grieve was the GM.

We used to drive over from North Louisiana ever summer to go to Rangers games at the original Arlington Stadium back in the 80's at that time when I was in Junior High/High school. We would hit up Bobby Valentines restaurant after some games. I thought Arlington Stadium was a palace when I was young when in reality it was probably one of the worst ballparks ever in the worst climate for baseball. But I was a kid & I loved it. The days of Nolan Ryan, Larry Parrish, Ruben Sierra, & Julio Franco were fun times. I still have a brochure from 1990 & the most expensive ticket was $12.
