Who in their right mind isn’t completely tired of football by this point in the year?

The majority of Americans watch football often and very little of any other sport.

The market keeps telling us that it doesn't want spring football, but these leagues keep trying... and failing.

I actually thought the 2020 XFL was trending in the right direction. St. Louis was close to a 60,000 seat sell out for one of their games, for example.

...and then COVID hit.

Both offenses look pretty sharp to this point.

Pretty sure they finished the 1st quarter in less than 30 minutes.

USFL > XFL, though

Vegas Vipers QB Luis Perez led the USFL in completion percentage and passer rating last year.

McElroy is awesome right now explaining the play calls. Many dislike him on here for whatever reason but I always thought he is a great commentator

I feel like the out of bounds rule for punting will encourage far more crappy little pooch punts like the one we just saw than it will increase the amount of returns.

Perez is a gamer. He also clearly loves football.

The Rock needs to tell the Renegades to get their asses into a real football stadium and not this converted baseball diamond shite. There are so many nice stadiums in DFW and they somehow picked the worst possible place to watch football.

Damn, Greg was right on the money on that sail route being open. Too bad the QB never looked that way.

Didn't they spend an ungodly amount to renovate the ballpark for football for the last xfl iteration?

As far as I can remember it was "just" $10 million. Most of the renovation was just removing seats in some areas and adding seats in others.
