Yeah but conference tourneys aren't supposed to hurt you much. They are more for teams that need help which WVU really didn't at that point. Most had them as a solid 10 seed or even 9 seed before playing Colorado.

If you want to get mad about UNC getting in that's cool but I'm not really going to feel bad about a bubble team missing the tourney.

That's the thing. All the experts didn't have them as a bubble team. They were supposed to be solidly in.

Of all the great injustices that have occurred in sports, 19-13 West Virginia not getting a tournament bid is doesn't crack the top 100,000.

I was just using the Quad metrics, which for some reason that loss is only Quad 2. But I agree that’s a bad loss. Either way if committee truly uses the metrics with consistency, this shouldn’t have happened.

I mean UNC lost to Pitt too so?
Pitt was also better earlier in the year when they played WVU, until having injuries and its like they gave up after that.
