Sure I would take first pick it's not like 100000000099 Chinese and Afghans care who I pick.

Plus I've already stated who I would pick so I can sign him long term

thanks to Flair Chops for bumping this today... I havent felt well at all and intended to bump this when I woke up but just wasn't feeling well. Anyways, glad we're getting more people in as this should be fun. I wouldn't mind doing the draft this week if that's okay with everyone. I'll take suggestions on a day and time so everyone will get to draft

No problem.
I would rather do it on a day during the work-week where I have access to the internet, aside from my cell. I can do whatever though, I'm just excited to see where this goes.

This will never happen effectively. Just to prevent everyone from getting their hopes up.

Why do you think that?

WAY too many people involved. Not consistent posters. It will end up being a mess that takes days to get through the first round and many people won't be here to participate.

Fact.

You could always set up a time limit, after that anyone part of the draft can make the pick in place of the person. No sabotaging though...

We did a draft on here last year and the first few rounds took forever. The whole draft took over two months and thread is currently at 116 pages. We started with 27 drafters and ended with 22. That left a bunch of first round picks in limbo so we put them back in the pool and had two supplemental rounds.

Whoever is putting this on needs to be on top of things and the drafters need to know this will take months to finish.

The 2010 NFL Mock?

We did it on the recruiting board. It went on forever! There were a few that were on the ball, but eventually it just kept dragging on and we kept lossing drafter after drafter. The OP of that draft had a few of our phone numbers which helped speed it up though. And two of the participants had spread sheets to say who was picked and what players at what positions had been picked.

When is this happening, my first question.

You announce a time, either you can be part of it or not, I wont administrate it.

If you do this, which the first pick has already been announced, you need to limit it to that day only and give only 24 picks and then set a "FA Board" where you get to fill in the rest of your team...and you base the FA "signings" by certain poster has until X time and day to release his people "signed"...if he doesnt and somebody grabs him...too bad find a new FA

ETA:

Set a Time limit on the picks like 3 minutes first rd, 2 minutes rd 3-10, 1 minute 4-24. And go with it...if you miss your pick you forfiet the pick or can announce at later time, if your pick is taken tough.

It's not happening brah.

You need to have a group of 5-10 solid posters that are here every day and take two hours or so and knock out a round a day.

It would make it much more fun to spectate because it would flow along MUCH better.

But y'all do it how you want.
