Would Stoops leave Kentucky for Nebraska?

I can't think of another coach that would be a better fit for the Nebraska program.

That’s a step down

Nebraska should hire Bret Bielema

No. Kentucky is the better job. Not many coaches have more job security than he does now.

I'm just glad he turned down FSU.

He’s got a good thing going at Kentucky. Moving to Nebraska and probably getting fired after a 9-4 season in a few years doesn’t sound as good to me.

Actually, yeah they really should

Once he turned down the FSU job, that signaled that he’s probably retiring in Lexington.
The only job I could see him leaving for is the Iowa job, but Harbaugh and Frost have proved that it doesn’t always end well when you go home.

Nebraska's ceiling isn't any higher than Kentucky now.

I’m serious. Nebraska’s ceiling is what he achieved at Wisconsin

And I think he knows it. Seems satisfied where he is, unlike most coaches who leave stable but lower level programs.

No.
I think most of assume it would probably take something like a Michigan or Ohio State at this point to lure him away. With the playoff expanding, he can do as much at Kentucky as he could Nebraska.

He’s got a good thing going at Kentucky. Nebraska has been a coaching graveyard since Osborne retired.

UK probably has a better football complex right now than almost anyone outside of UGA and Bama.

Absolutely. Better conference. Better state. No libs down your throat. Would probably take less money

And they’re fully renovating Nutter (indoor) and building T&F their own facility so football won’t have to share anymore either (part of why Cal pitched his fit).

How would anyone here know what Stoops would do?
