I say no. Last year other than the Bama game was abysmal. Going 5-7 at FSU should never happen.

I don’t think they could afford to fire him. I’m still not sure they can after this season.

Norvel has gone 5-7 or worse every season except two, including 1 season with Jordan Travis. That's 4 of 6 seasons and not really putting away New Mexico State right now, though they may pull away in the 4th quarter.

FSU would've owed him $64 million if they fired him after the 2025 season.
If they fire him after this season they still owe him $51 million.
