Yea Im wondering who backs him. My friend WacoKidd knows who but wont tell me. Im guessing Sheets and Bax.

He did say he owes more than a few hundred K in backpay to backers.

The announcer is reading the bios for all six players. Men Nguyen stopped to correct her that today will mark his 68th cash. Only Phil Hellmuth has more with 76 cashes.

Nguyen won a bracelet two weeks ago in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship, earning just under $400,000 for his seventh career bracelet. He'd love to be the first double bracelet winner of the series, but he only needs to finish fifth to overtake Michael Mizrachi in the WSOP Player of the Year race.

Lindgren out in 6th, Men shoots up to the top
quote:

Wow.

Bruno Launais opened to 90,000 from under the gun and Erick Lindgren three-bet to 260,000 right next to him. Action folded to Men "The Master" Nguyen who moved all in for effectively 1,500,000 having Lindgren barely covered. Launais folded and Lindgren went into the tank.

"I could always get lucky," Lindgren joked after a minute of thought.

"You could," Nguyen shot at him. "One time out of a hundred."

"We might have the same hand," Lindgren prodded.

"I'll make you a deal," Nguyen told him. "If you fold and show, I'll show."

Lindgren thought a for a little longer, letting out a heavy sigh before saying, "Call."

It was as if he already knew what two cards Nguyen was going to open. As soon as KK hit the felt, LIndgren's face dropped and he punched the table. He was in dire straights with QQ.

The flop was low,4,5,2, and the 6 brought some chop outs for Lindgren.

It was no to be however as the 8 fell on the river eliminating Lindgren from the tournament.

After the elimination, Nguyen is neck and neck with Jeffrey Papola with just under 3,000,000 chips.
