LINK
I kid you not half of my facebook statuses right now are frick You Scott Montgomery or my favorite "you are the worst fricking player on the planet, die in a fire"
ETA: Dolan got KOed a few hands later. Pretty sick results from their house so far. 12 of my friends staying together, 3 final tables with two 6ths and a 3rd

100% Dolan holds there with AK and that bitch is over.

From the cutoff seat, John Dolan opened the with a 135,000-chip raise. In the small blind, Scott Montgomery re-popped it to 300,000. Dolan moved all in and Montgomery tanked, asked for a count and eventually called.

Showdown Dolan:AKc Montgomery:KQo Scott Montgomery is now up to 3,200,000 chips, and Dolan is down to 165,000.
So he called a 4-bet shove for approx. 1.3m more?!

Thats the Scott Montgomery style. Stick it in completly dominated and get there. All the superstars have this play down to a T.

The poker gods are a fickle bunch, no doubt. I understand and personally advocate an overly aggressive style of play, but to call off 25+ bb's to a 4-bet with KQo.
That's tournaments for you though. They're filled with clowns like SM. You sit down at the table and don't know whether to salivate or cry.

Best part was he asked for a count first. He was fully aware of the amount he was calling off.

After that Dolan drank

He's probably still drinking.
How many were left when this hand happened?
Posted on 6/24/10 at 10:24 am to TigerSinceBirth4Life
6. Would have put him at 3.4 mill, chip leader and he would have run over the table. He's not gonna get beat that late in a tournament with chips
Posted on 6/24/10 at 11:14 am to TEXASTIGER22
That sucks. Sounds like this won't be his last deep run, though.

No, he owes way to much makeup to his investors for this to be the last one
