Day 3 of the $25k 6 handed NL tourney about to start. Negraneau is in contention with 18 left. I'd like to see him do well, he deserves it.

daniel seems he just got tired and gave up. this isn't a daniel play at all.
Daniel Negreanu opened for 54,000 and Mikael Thuritz three-bet to 140,000 from the button. Negreanu made the call and they saw a 6s-3d-2s flop. Negreanu checked, Thuritz bet 125,000, Negreanu shoved and Thuritz called all-in for about 550,000.

The turn was the 8h, the river was the 2c and Thuritz doubled to 1.3 million. Negreanu was left with 425,000.

I read he wasn't happy with the structure. Avg stack with 18 people left only had 40BBs. It was becoming a push fest. They are already down to 12 and only been playing for like 2 hrs.

The Tournament of Champions is resuming for an hour while Hellmuth is on dinner break from PLO. If he busts they could continue after that tonight.

It was based on 6 max or Ante up for Africa. They thought they'd be down to nine already. With 17 left they are trying to move it up as much as possible apparently.

They couldn't get Hachem and Seed in fast enough after phone calls so day 3 of TOC was scrapped till tomorrow.

like it should have been. with the deep stacks how'd they not expect it to be this long? i mean the event has been listed on PN June 27 - July 04, 2010 since the beginning.

Antonio's brother Pasha is one of my best friends. He told me a story about his bro when we were at Coushatta that was pretty cool. Said his brother had just moved to Vegas to play cards but needed money so was doing the magic thing and poker part time. He preformed a party for Phil Helmuth that paid 500 bucks. At the end of the night he told Phil he would play him HU and if he won he got 1k but lose and Phil wouldnt owe him anything. Antonio won and gave up the magic thing to play poker full time.
