That's why I love track and field. Well sprinting. I'm not one of those types that believes in SHOES helping you run faster. I love it when track sprinting records get broken and a person being known as the fastest human being.

I'm talking about shoes that were made 4-12yrs ago for sprinting compared to the ones sprinters wear now.

well i heard on the news earlier that it was such an advantage that speedo offered the suits to every swimmer to even the playing field...so no one is at an advantage, everyone is faster...phelps isnt even wearing the full body suit.

Everyone has a suit that is equivalent to the LZR. Honestly I think the BlueSeventy is faster, but thats just from my experiences.

The reason they do not talk about it is for the allusion that the records are being broken by skill and ability only. It will add to the drama for the casual fan. Still it is unbelievable what the swimmers are accomplishing, but you'd be dumb not to admit the suit is helping a lot.
