Patrick Mahomes 14-3 (2018-present - 6 seasons)

John Elway 14-8 (1983-1998 - 16 seasons)

Payton Manning 14-13 (1998-2015 - 18 seasons)

It took Mahomes six seasons to get as many playoff wins as Horse Teeth and Horse Head did in 34 combined seasons.

I looked at that and know the OP is a homer… what Mahommes has done is really good, but Montana is better.

How many times did Mahomes kicker miss the game tying field goal? How many times did Mahomes take a lead with less than 90 seconds left and then his defense gives up a 70 yard touch down pass to tie the game?

It happened to Manning.

He's got half as many if we combine them.

Like Dee Ford lining up offsides on an interception with seconds left against the Patriots in the AFC Championship game? Stop making excuses & appreciate what Mahomes is doing.

That’s kind of a crazy way to look at the math my man. Mahomes is impressive no doubt, but adding up the seasons of two players and comparing it to one is a little off. Six vs. 16 is still pretty unreal. Also, holy shot about Manning being just of .500 in the playoffs. He has to hate Brady deep down.
