My suggestion is not necessarily about bowls, but I think it would be awesome if all teams from the power conferences had to schedule two nonconference games with teams from other power conferences.

I like that. Big OOC games are often my favorites of tOSU's seasons.

And I like the higher seeded home game idea. The regular season has to mean something.

is nearly dead.

they arent going to send ohio state down to play in TCUs 45k seat stadium. likewise with expecting fans to find proper hotel accommodations in eugene oregon.

home 1st round playoff games. Plus the OOC games against other major conference teams. This year with LSU playing Oregon and WVU was awesome. The only thing that would have been better would have been a home and home against Oregon instead of neutral site.

Everyone wants a home playoff first game.

If they're the higher ranked team, I would have no issue with this.

ETA
@slmandel: Is home-site option dead? Larry Scott: "We wouldn’t have spent three or four hours talking about it [today] if it was dead, I don't think."

It probably won't happen, but I hope it does.

Either higher seeded home games or a neutral site(s) in the north. If we have to go play an SEC team in Atlanta frick that.

Adapt the same format as D1AA. Too much?

An objective seeding process. The influence of Herbstreit and co. on pollsters is just too much IMO.

ESPN is just using their influence to create controversy, not determine a champion for CFB
