Mike Glennon played just as good as rookie a few years ago, with less talent, and no one was crowning him. I just dont get it.

JaMarcus Russell also played better than John Elway early in their careers, but pretty sure most people saw the potential difference, much like comparing Winston to Glennon and not "getting it."

He certainly has that potential.

So does Johnny Manziel, but I don't see it happening.

Empty stats or not, Winston has a higher QB rating, a higher TD%, lower INT%, and a higher YPA than Andrew Luck did on his rookie year.

If the Bucs were 11-5 in the AFC South the Winston hype would be outrageous.

the Case Keenum comment kinda insinuates it, to be honest.

Yes, and decidedly to answer your 2 questions.

Not sure why that needed an answer, I'd think that's an obvious statement I made.

Nope, but you said Keenum outplayed him and you definitely insinuated that meant something much larger. Like I said, I bet we can find meh QBs who outplayed Peyton Manning his rookie year... And?

You're laughing but don't understand the difference between Glennon and Winston as rookies?

Whoops, awkward.

Well considering you didn't answer it. I would like some sort of proof showing how he is better than any 21 year old QB ever. You just make BS statements and don't expect to be called out. Saying decidedly doesn't answer the question. Because he has a bunch of garbage time yds doesn't make him better than anyone.

People in this thread are saying Winston will be as good as Moon.

He may be

Hold on, I'll go grab it. Feel free to refute it as well.

Another poster pointed out the Andrew Luck comparison, but I guess Luck wasn't better than most 21 year olds either, right?

The season is not over yet. Plus Luck lead a team that was 2-15 to the playoffs as a rookie. Winston not so much.

Luck wasn't 21. But took his team to the playoffs.
