Iga Swiatek

In 2024, Iga Swiatek tested positive for the banned substance trimetazidine (TMZ) in an out-of-competition drug test. This led to her accepting a one-month suspension from the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).

Jannik Sinner

In March 2024, at Indian Wells (on-court) and out-of-competition, Sinner’s samples returned positive for trace amounts of clostebol, an anabolic steroid

standard rule, I assume any professional athlete at the top of their sport has used something illegal/banned to aid in recovery/growth at some point in time.

The exceptions are rare, and we would need evidence they were clean, Tony Gwynn is someone I'd believe.

ETA: Not to take anything away from athletes, I still respect the skill to win at anything.

They have been doing for years

Spain started it. Then Spain kinda had a really popular player come from the doping lab so tennis turned a blind eye and it was game on

You act like all pro athletes are not on some form of roids

I believe Sinner’s story somewhat. A legal OTC cut healing spray sold in Italy that his trainer was using for himself contained the banned substance.
