Don’t like that players can just go take a 7 minute break and do god knows what

I think they are sort of supervised. Don’t know if they are actually IN the bathroom with them though.

No he wasn’t
He most definitely was. Used lots of gamesmanship tactics, locker room breaks, pouted a ton, was frequently “injured” and retired multiple times when things seemingly were against him. He eventually figured out the mental part of the game and went on to become the GOAT. But he was a shithead early on.

I follow tennis very, very loosely, and might watch a grand-slam final if nothing else is on (like today). I know he’s got a reputation for being an insufferable a-hole/hothead, but also that he’s an all-time great.

This match has been awesome. Alcaraz seems to be on another level at the moment. He’s got that 20 yo energy that’s hard to match when you’re closer to 40

Not sure. It’s going to be annoying watching alcaraz bark the next few years if none of the other players are any good. He is always whining when I watch him play.

3 weeks ago djok wiped the floor with Alvarez. I think it’s a little early to completely call this the changing of the guard. Djok will still be favorite at the US open IMHO

I thought you were a tennis guru.. I guess not. Joker used to throw his racket and slam it into the ground all the time.

that was 3-1 Alcaraz without the cramps, which is why everyone is shocked right now.
