I can see how that would rub people the wrong way, but look where they came from. They were getting NO HELP! I don't expect everyone to see my side of it, or be a heat/lebron fan. But to say this is a 'meh' championship is something I can't wrap my head around.

Alabama's championship last year is the most underwhelming achievement in sports. A high school team could have beat LSU in that game plus bama did not deserve to be there in the first place.
I was waiting for this.

First of all, players like James and Bosh were DRAFTED to their initial teams. They didn't get to pick their place of employment (team). A high percentage of top 5 picks go to bad teams.

So let's put this in a situation that can relate to everyday people. You choose to go work for a company (which these players initially don't get to do because they are drafted) and you sign a 3 year contract to work for them doing whatever it is you do. Let's say over those 3 years you are the best at what you do but don't feel like you can accomplish your personal goals ($ for you, Ring for Lebron) because the company is not supplying you with what you need to achieve those goals. After those 3 years are up, you have the opportunity to leave that company because you are no longer under contract. Another opportunity is available at a much better company that will allow you to achieve your personal goal because they provide you with what you need to meet those goals. A very high percentage of people take that opportunity in a heartbeat. You arent "shitting" on your previous company. You fulfilled your contractual obligation. You are moving on to a better situation to achieve what is most important to you.

All Lebron, Bosh or any other player is doing that finishes out a contract at a previous team and leaves for a better team is to achieve the ultimate goal in sports. A Championship. Miami was smart enough to see this a couple years in advance and make room to be able to sign these guys at the same time.

You are trying to use logic, something people on here HATE. Good luck getting your point across

Lol...

If Lebron had stayed in Cleveland and continued to play with the shitty talent they put around him, he could have averaged 40/10/10, and then he would still get knocked because he didn't win a championship.

He goes somewhere where the organization is willing to help him with the talent that is required in winning a championship, and he gets labeled a sell out.

He is in a no win situation. To all of the haters on Lebron: What possibly can Lebron do that wouldn't warrant criticism?

This board makes me sad. It makes me realize how pathetic people are.

Unless you are from the state of Ohio, or surrounding areas, you should have no dog in this fight. Lebron is a class act and he wants to win a championship.

Call it underwhelming. Put an asterisk next to it. Start a thread for every negative emotion you have towards Lebron. He won't care.

Lebron has played great. Best player in the NBA by far. But this championship is a bit "meh"

Jesus tittyfricking Christ.

What should Lebron do next year? Play with his cock hanging out? Or maybe just tuck it upwards under the elastic in his shorts, but leave the tip hanging out a little bit for everybody to see.

Perhaps they should put several massive televisions, easily visible from the court, in all the arenas and then have video clips of Delonte wailing away on Lebron's mom...I mean, really giving it to her balls deep...playing constantly while Lebron is on the court.

Would this be less "meh"?

I would view that Yankee championship a few years ago as more underwhelming.

I think of it as pretty much exactly the same as that Yankee title. Very forgettable.

There is nothing he can do. I will never respect him the way LeBron fans feel I should and on top of that I dislike him as a human being.

I agree with you. It's like "Damn dude what took you so long?" He was supposed to the best thing since sliced bread coming out of high school and it took him 9 years and teaming up with two other superstars and then another 2 years just to win ONE. He took the easy way out IMO and that kinda deflates the significance of it.

Maybe after drafting Lebron he should've led them to a shite record so they could get better draft picks? Cause that's the RIGHT WAY TO BUILD A TEAM!

A championship's a championship. He's making up for last year's mess in the Finals.

that is a stupid way to look at it. A championship this year does not make up for the lost championship last year.

If LSU wins the NC this year, it doesn't make up for last years lost one

True, I just needed to fit an anti-Lebron sentiment in the post. People get mad if it appears you like him.

Then you have A LOT of fans like me that want him to win a championship because of all the hate he gets. I don't care for Lebron or the Heat but I hope they win 3-7 championships to shut people up.

1 it took hime 7 in cleveland and CLEARLY you didn't watch basketball for those 7 years if you cant understand why he didn't win one then

and 2 years with the heat.

He has the same amount of rings Jordan did at this age
