Youre hanging in there tough today! No other members of the James/Heat defense team seem to be in the thread yet. Proud of you for going it alone.

If it's not a busy work week, I'm ALWAYS around for a bit.

I know you like to call me out for "disappearing" after they lost in the Finals, but I had twin boys TWO days after they lost game 6(the same day that game 7 was actually scheduled for).

I can't even get you to cut me any slack for that.

What will be the excuse if they lose the next game? I'm ready to see the new one.

If I didnt know better, I would think Lebron is about to call a press conference to announce he is taking his talents to South Beach

What are you talking about? You seriously haven't read my posts in this thread. Try it some time.

A guy said they had good role players. I said their role players haven't been so good this year. That's it. Most would agree with me. Pretty much the only people who won't are the same ones who just point and laugh and mock the Heat for everything. If you wanna be lumped in that group, go right ahead. Enjoy your time there.

But you should really try reading my posts before making dumb statements.

I listed 3 excuses for poor Heat play that you gave in this thread alone.

I was just curious what the next one would be.

Pre-All star break, i would have agreed with you. He was shooting 51% from the field and 46% from 3.

Post-All Star break he shot 38% and 30% from 3.

He was solid against NY and in game 3 last night or whenever it was, but in games 1 and 2 he shot something like 2 of 14.

Why do you think the Heat have played poorly?

Can you list a couple of reasons, in your opinion as to why they're down 2 games to 1.

For realz lol.

Norris Cole did something similar.

Pre-All Star break he shot 42% from the field and was getting lots of playing time.

Post- 34% and he basically became the 11th or so guy on the bench as a result.

I don't know. I don't follow them except for the playoffs.

Lol

You realize explanations aren't excuses, right?

Again, read my posts in this very thread if you think these explanations are just excuses.

Garnett/Duncan will be an epic Finals match-up.

I'm thinking there will still be a story line worth following if its the Celtics that make the Finals. I don't think they can beat the Spurs or Thunder but if they play up to their abilities it will be close. Garnett has been shockingly good this year.

People were making excuses before the series started...now it's on to that they'll lose because Bosh is hurt and wade is "hurt"

Hate to tell ya, losing Bosh doesn't make you lose by 20 points to the Pacers. Having a shitty bench because you used all your money signing those players does.

I thought most everyone was picking the Heat in 5 or 6, no?

I coulda swore Lebron or someone said something (before bosh got hurt) in which he was trying to soften the blow if they got bounced. It may have been after game 1
