Sticky this thread.

I'll laugh my arse off if Zona covers due to your cockiness about "knowing football."

You're all in on Okie State because of Savannah State and dogging a Pac 12 team with new blood and coach like they're Florida Atlantic.

The game is at Arizona and Toledo is a top 60 FBS team while Savannah belongs in Division II.

Vegas does know something; that you might be an idiot.

For practical purposes, "Vegas" is my bookie, but whatever. I've taken a good deal more money in my day from Vegas than he has from me. You wanna me quote me on that?

This isn't my first rodeo, assface. Your rationale for why I took the game is silly. I've been curt in my replies because I think the arguments in favor of Arizona are just really bad. Also, I think you sound like a pansy. You likely wet your bed on occasion.

Vegas knows how to put lines on the board that will divide the money evenly. They don't care if they know shite.

Sticky it, btw. I don't give a shite. Also, I've got this game backed up on the moneyline. So double winnings for this fricking kid.

They know more about the quality of teams than the avg fan Instead of getting all bent out of shape because people don't agree with your lock, why don't you learn how to fricking read what other people post. Vegas =/= sports books in this context. "Vegas" is the people that set the lines and yes they know how better to evaulate the quality of teams than the avg fan.

Thanks bobby, but instead of reading a book ill just go to work today. I actually work at one, the one that all the other books set their lines from.

And what we do know is how teddy bridgewater fares against different defenses. And we do more research than you. Lines are moved at different times for different reasons, but rarely do we ever take a stance on a game and just stand firm no matter what the percentages are. Cantor does that a lot and they've been getting murdered for it.

dude OSU is relying on an untested true freshman QB on the road. it's not even arguments "in favor" of Arizona. it's arguments of caution about OSU

That is also a true statement. I wouldn't be shocked to see Zona win this game. I really wish I would have watched both teams play last week.

You can still get in. You'd only be 11 games back, and at 20 this week....you could move up quickly.

I know what LVSC does.

And I know the process of setting a line for the purpose of getting even money on both sides of the line* can't be divorced from an analysis of the quality of the two teams.

But I also know that Boise State was favored by 13 points in their bowl game last year against Arizona State. I further know that I have a fully functioning brain and could tell you that Boise would win by 30 every day of the week. (a) Did the person that set the line know how off it was but didn't care because he thought it was indicative of public perception? (b) Or did the person who set the line do so shortly after getting a lobotomy.

We got two options. a or b. You tell me which one.

*BTW, who is the a-hole western kentucky fan that apparently disputes this statement? How about you tell us how it works, smart guy? Add something to the convo. If the lines aren't meant to divide the money in half, then what is the main objective in setting a line? Yeah, I'm talking to you.
