Why is NFL officiating a 1000 times better than college officiating?

Especially SEC officiating. With them there is multi controversial calls every fricking game. Totally incompetent across the board. Hardly ever a bad call in an NFL game. Sure they exist but not like college. SEC games have become almost unwatchable.

They are about the same. The college targeting rule though has such dire consequences that it stands out when it's screwed up.
