re: Why don't the Bengals cut ties with Shemir Stewart and just sign Hendrickson to a deal?

Like what?
Not getting the Covid vaccine. And not even being vocal about it, but just saying you hasn’t gotten in when asked. In 2020 that could absolutely be portrayed as an action that “ undermines the public's respect for the Club, Club coaches, or Club management”

“I’d rather not discuss my medical history in public.”
Next.

this isnt up to you. if you chose to refuse it or if texts got released about your opinion on it or in a conversation you assumed was private.
im beginning to see that you actually think you have control over where this would go. youre really struggling with wrapping your head around the open endedness of this thing.

If you weren’t vaccinated you were on a list and had to adhere to protocols that identified you. Just the act (or like there of) of not getting the vaccine could have allowed the bengals to void a contract under that provision.

Anytime there’s a contractual term that can hurt you for lack of action, you probably shouldn’t sign it

“Do you have a comment of George Floyd?”
“I don’t comment on nonfootball matters”
If that’s a white player, they could absolutely be labeled racist and a horrible person and “undermining” the reputation of the club

It honestly sounds like you think it's a reasonable ask and expectation in a contract to not let a player say or do anything in public or private that isn't playing football, and if they do it's also reasonable to stop paying money you agreed to pay them
It's honestly amazing how dense you really are to be so confident in this argument of yours. It's clauses like these that make lawyers rich and cost both sides a lot of money, but sure let's leave it in. We can just use the TackySweater "don't do stupid shite" analysis when someone gets sued.

As long as there are stupid people, I continue to be completely overpaid

earlier he was talkin that "just play ball" shite like football is all there is.
didnt have shite to say when it became less about politics and more about the emotional state of football in and of itself.
imagine losing millions because you got emotional during football. imagine a 20 guy scrum/fight you get dragged into and youre the only one that lost millions as a result. or you got a late hit in and not only do you draw a penalty/get an ejection but your front office takes millions from you.
no way this guy believes this shite. hope hes just passing the time at work like me

Imagine if Devin White lost 17 million dollars because of his targeting penalty against Miss State. User TackySweater would surely say "don't commit penalties and you would have nothing to worry about."

But LSU “probably” wouldn’t have invoked their right in that case

Was it bengals team policy in 2020 that players get vaccinated?

Ed Orgeron was drug in the media for not marching with the players when he wasn’t even told about it. He was also drug for saying Trump was nice to the team when they visited the White House. No one is reaching. These are real world things that can and have happened and that could also theoretically be used to manipulate clauses in a contract that are so ambiguous.
