I don't spend time listening to or putting stock into what ESPN does. I watch football game broadcasts and that is it.

This is the first time I've ever listened to Colin Cowherd on television or the radio for more than 60 seconds.

WTF is up with that lisp? I'm watching ESPN news and his lips are covered with spit. He occasionally wipes them off it gets so bad. You can tell it probably used to be way worse.

Bad radio host + lisp

Why would anyone care what this doofus has to say?

his voice is really annoying, not just his lisp, but his voice too.

Mike Greenberg is super annoying too, he smacks and takes huge deep breaths between sentences. Golic sucks too.

SVP and RR have smooth, perfect voices.

I like Colin Cowherd FWIW. He is crazy, but not a douche like Bayless.

He's more annoying right now spitting on his mic saying "it's a down year in the Big 12" and "Bama had to go through the SEC and may be an all time great."

Alabama's body of work....

Florida
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Ole Miss
Miss. St.

Lets take 4 of those. Compare them with Big XII teams that Ok. St. has beaten.

A&M
Baylor
K-State
Texas
Oklahoma (presumably)

A&M vs. Miss. St.
Baylor vs. Ole Miss
Texas vs. Tennessee
Oklahoma vs. Florida
K-State vs. Vanderbilt

You forgot a couple key ingredients

LSU
Arkansas

Iowa State

Also remember that outside of the LSU game no team has been within 18 points of Alabama... They didn't just survive against those teams they dominated them.

I can play the game too

LSU vs. Oklahoma
Arkansas vs. K State
Florida vs. Baylor
Penn St. vs. Iowa State
Auburn vs. Missouri
Bama vs. OSU

Wanna guess whose portfolio would have a winning record?

Herd is 2nd best next to Dan Patrick sometimes.

Can't really hear the "lisp" on the radio. If you talked that long, pretty sure you will be spitting all over.

I don't even think the argument now is whether or not Bama is the 2nd best team now. Its more about whether or not the deserve to be in the NC.

Dan Patrick is good, but SVP and Rusillo is by far the best.

Yea, SVP is right there now that Tirico is gone.

Like Collin because he brings in a lot of political references.

They do.

Had Ok. State, Oklahoma, Stanford or Oregon won out after November 5th. No one would believe Alabama deserved a shot at the title. But considering all of them lost in November against inferior schedule's to Bama none of them deserve to get a "free pass".

You realize there's a debate about whether LSU would deserve a shot in the title game with a loss to Georgia? LSU's schedule is twice as hard as any of those 4 and the only "quality loss" that would compare to UGA is Stanford at Oregon.

The debate ended on "frick it" weekend.

Alabama 27 PSU 11

Impressive defense right? Keeping PSU under 14 points!!!!

Penn State 10 Illinois 7
Penn State 13 Iowa 3
Penn State 14 Temple 10

Well, PSU has no offense but they have an impressive defense...

Wisky 45 PSU 7 (playing for a trip to the Championship)

Your hat stand is a close loss to LSU...be honest Bama fan.

I really do think that Bama is the 2nd best team in the country and has the best shot at beating LSU. But in this current system I don't think we should see a rematch. It just doesn't make sense to me that while LSU is playing again this weekend, having to risk injury or possibly a chance at the title game (I don't think it really matter if LSU wins or loses though), Bama gets a week off to just wait for the title game. Its almost as if they are being rewarded for losing to LSU.

Plus, I don't think an LSU-Bama championship game will prove a true champion if Bama wins. You would end up with 2 teams, each with one loss to each other. That would not prove a true champion. I would kind of like to see a team that hasn't played LSU yet at least get a chance.
