West Virginia is 5-5 against Texas since joining the Big-12.

Texas football is NOT a power on the field anymore.

However, they are one in the football media. Heck they might win the national queen of football drama every year.

Don't be surprised if Vandy has a .500 record vs. Texas 10 years from now.

They dominated the SWC so all the old money grew up thinking they were the swinging dicks of college football.

They have been pretty meh since joining the big 12. Only winning the big 12 3 times.

They expect to dominate the conference and compete for titles every year, but not even Mack did that. The wax romantic about the peak Mack years but seem to forget OU raw dogging then 5 years in a row

You might be a snowflake if you think 18-22 year old boys who have probably never voted are “ruined” by local politicians

Can anyone actually site specific examples of booster and culture issues?
Read the other day that several Texas boosters were pressuring Sark to play certain players based on race. Not sure if that’s actually true but that would be an example

As said before, bad culture in Texas H.S. football. Soft players who arrive at UT thinking their shite don't stink because they've been worshipped since 8th grade...and played in a soft system of football that has totally changed since the 80s.

Forgive me, 4 championships over the last 20 years when you exclude the 94 season that basically everyone in the conference tied for because A&M wasnt eligible to win that year

That was one more than SMU and arkansas, and was tied with UH, in that era

It is an overrated job with serious hamstrings that utterly negate the natural advantages it should have.

Look at the last half century of football. It's Auburn with a sense of entitlement, at best, which continuously disappoints a media that is desperate for them to be relevant.

Herman's recruiting was actually piss poor. He set this team up for failure.

Overall rankings in the 2019 and 2018 classes were great, but he loaded up on DBs and WRs, not so much on OL and DL. You look at Bama and UGA, that's where they shine, OL and DL recruiting.

Nothing more aggie then isolating the discussion to very specific era where A&M was good and Texas sucked

My favorite is when aggies bring up that they were an all boys school so anything before the late 60s don’t really count, expect for the titles they claim

Having said that, I agree with your point that Texas is overrated and never really been that dominated in modern college football outside of the 60s and early 70s

What in the absolute world are you on right now

You made a post about texas being meh in the big 12. I piled on saying they were also meh during the final extended stretch of the SWC, and now you are just spinning around throwing shite out about this is somehow some big aggie thing, when I was just piling on to something that you posted
