Hazelnut you are too passionate about this ULL crap. Let it go dude y'all are ULL and will be that forever! Remember ULL is a glorified community college!

A community college that has the same admission requirements as LSU?

LSU
ULL/UL Lafayette/ Louisiana/ whatever you want to call it

ETA: missed the GPA requirement
3.0 for LSU
2.5 for ULL/UL Lafayette/ Louisiana

not even talking about lsu it is disrepectful to ulm for ull to call themselves ul. and by the way it is illegal as well. take a look at your diploma if you have one what does it say.

Dude comes in here throwing out records. I find it funny that all of those games were played in the strong years of LSU football, and that during the "dark ages" in BR we weren't on the schedule. Coincidence probably, not scheduled on purpose to protect that pretty little record....possibly.

LSU started playing the in state schools again when Bertman was AD. It had nothing to do with protecting a pretty little record.

You also insinuate during the "dark ages" that LSU would have lost to USL. Your football program is shite historically. You'd have to cherry pick one or two years where the Cajuns would have even had a chance.

I'm insinuating that LSU possibly was playing the odds. Not that we would have won, just that y'all didn't want to chance it.

And I disagree. LSU had a better chance of losing to the schools they brought in during that time period than they would have against ULL. They would have benefited by having some in state schools on the schedule.

OOC in the 1990s losing seasons (most recent dark age): Miami (OH), Texas A&M, Florida State, Tulane, Arky State, Colorado State, Utah State, Southern Miss, Idaho, Notre Dame, San Jose State.

I'm pretty sure ULM tried to brand themselves as UL at one point but then gave up on trying. So frick their feelings. And no it's not illegal for UL to brand themselves as "Louisiana." The state approved it

NOTHING that is said in this thread will change either side's mind. So WHY...frickING...BOTHER?

ulm has never tried to brand themselves as ul. never. and it would be illegal to do so. usl is just a school that wants to be lsu and if they can call themselves ul. in their little brain they think they are big boys. and equal to lsu

after reading all the post from usl. it is apparent that they can only be content with illegal titles like ul. they want to be lsu but can't so they try to vaunt themselves upward to be the only louisiana university which of course is not the case. have fun in your make believe world.
