I think people like a little drama with their sports heroes. I’m not sure the Reid/Mahomes combo had ever skipped a beat in a relevant game until last night. If you don’t see them fail occasionally you don’t appreciate the greatness. And the nation collectively loves Josh Allen but Mahomes keeps sonning him. Yeah, and Kelce is beyond a tool.

It’s a little bit of everything but by far Americans second favorite thing is rooting for a dynasty to be built and then it’s favorite thing is to turn on it and rip it down, then the cycle repeats.

A lot of it is this. Dynasties in sports are polarizing. A lot of people that probably didn’t care before either jump on and support or start hating.

They have unlikable people at the core and they've had every officiating break go their way this year. It's a testament to how unlikable they are that the most likable coach in Andy Reid can't make up for it. A lot of fatigue too.
Mahomes - fairy body language and kermit the frog voice and he bitches about calls even though no one in the league gets more calls. And a certified flopper.
Kelce - try hard douche on Pfizer commercials dating mouse face Taylor Swift and they are force fed to us constantly. The Kelce's in general are just getting old. Even their mom.

I also never hated Brady and the Patriots like Mahomes and Kelce.
Mahomes has some of the most god-given talent ever at the QB position and has a dad bod. Brady just worked his arse off like a psycho and demanded his teammates do the same and I respected that. I never liked them, but I respected the shite out of the work ethic and results from that work ethic.

It's called oversaturation. The winning forced them down everyone's throats. Then Taylor Swift. Now because of that we've got to hear from all members of the Kelce family non-stop. Andy Reid on commercials. Muppet boy on commercials. It never ends, and people are tired of it.
