For me it's mostly because he's a division rival. I'm not an LSU fan so I never had a problem with him in college.
The auburn/Panther fans are annoying as shite too.
The celebration stuff doesn't bother me much but obviously if you're pulling against a guy, he's beating your team and celebrating I can see that being a source for some people disliking him

He played for auburn and now the panthers. This board is literally full of rivals/division opponents of those teams. It's as simple as that.

I think most people dislike him for being successful against their favorite team and they latch onto the antics as support for their dislike of him.

Hate's an awfully strong and wrong in my mind description.
He's a hell of an athlete and QB. He does things that I don't think anyone else playing today can measure up to.
And yes, he does a lot of great things off the field.
I'm critical of some of the things he does after 1st downs & TDs but that's just proof that I'm old school. I'm sure he's not losing any sleep.

I guess if you want to just make up shite, that would make sense. But Manziel is hated on here pretty universally by any non-A&M fans.
