Why did the committee knowingly create rematches?

Tulane was locked in at the #11 spot, committee knew that. They rank Ole Miss above A&M to put them in a rematch with a team that killed them. There was no reason not to flip those two.
Then Bama comes in at a very odd #9, you would expect them to be the last team and it’s like they intentionally flipped them with Miami to force the Bama-OU rematch
And finally if Ole Miss again beats the G5 team they already completely outclassed, they will have a rematch with UGA.

You flip A&M and OM, and flip Bama and Miami and you get rid of the rematches and the bracket is much more interesting. And that is the more correct ranking anyways. And of course they knew they were making these rematches happen. So why the frick did they do this?

Story lines.

Also to give Alabama a cake walk.

They will probably beat OU and Indiana

Yeah I didn't like that either. I thought half the reason of the CFP was to have matchups you haven't already seen

Should’ve flipped Ole Miss and Oregon because Ole Miss has a better resume if you look at wins over Oregon.

I don’t know why Oklahoma wouldn’t smack Bama for the 3rd straight time. Bama’s weakness seems to be their strength

They lost at home to the number 1 team and Ole Miss lost on the road to the number 3 team. Ole Miss has wins at Oklahoma and Tulane compared to Oregon best win at home over USC. Ole Miss has a better case at 5 than Texas A&M does.

Lets be honest, the committee is retarded.
So is the system.

ACC champ is out but team in ACC gets in- Miami.

Because they're regarded.

I could put OM at 4. Why does Texas Tech get credit over you for a conference championship but Georgia doesn’t get it over Ohio State?

Bama can’t score. Indiana has a legit D.

No one is really talking about it, but Oklahoma isn’t a good football team. Yeah, they have a good record, but they’re still bad. The playoffs are a joke.

Idk about all that. My gut when it comes to playoffs/tourney, mostly as it pertains to college basketball, is when a good team gets their shite pushed in late in the season, it gives them fuel for the playoffs/tourney. But, I haven’t watched Indiana at all this year so I’m probably completely wrong.
