I keep seeing videos of “how terrible Vikings fans were treated in Philly”. Nothing that bad ever happens in them. They get booed. They have things yelled at them but that’s it.

Exhibit A

Isn’t that part of the fun of going to an away game? Do people enjoy anything anymore?

I’d like to see Vikings fans in Baton Rouge

There's good fun and then there's Philly trash

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here. Eagles fans are some of the worst people you will ever encounter. The scum of the sports earth.

I mean, they are from Minnesota so I imagine a lot of the world is shocking to them

ETA: that video is hilarious and exactly what I would expect as an opposing fan in Philly. It’s not like it’s a secret what the Eagles fan base is

I've never seen LSU fans throw glass/can beer bottles at fans.

Didn't they make a frick you chant about that 99 year old lady who had never seen the Vikings play in the title game?

These are the people who think they're so much better than those backwards, racist, redneck Southerners.

I lived in Pennsylvania for a while. It was Livingston Parish with mountains.

lately

you must not know many Vikings fans.

I have a female friend who has rooted for them since childhood. Besides the whole "2009 was stolen because of bountygate" bs I've endured for 8 years the previous 4 Super Bowl losses made Vikes Fan Bills Fan before Bills fan existed.

There are a sad group beaten down by those 4 super bowl losses (none close in reality) and the subsequent years of close calls and meltdowns (hello Gary Anderson)

I've been to a lot of LSU and Saints away games and have never had a problem. It's all how you take shite talk, which you have to understand is going to happen on a road trip.

For Saints @ Buffalo this year all I was told how how big of assholes they are and how bad it will be blah blah blah. We were invited to a Bills Mafia tailgate and drinking with them within 5 minutes of parking.

You didn’t see them throwing beer at them?

Standing around yelling constant expletives and flipping everyone off. That’s pretty shitty

Again, I haven't seen it. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Philly is pretty bad as far as Northeastern pro football fanbases. With that being said, I enjoy some of their shtick from a far. Especially the kid who said "BIG DICK NICK" live on television.

I’ve never heard Bills fans are assholes, lots of the Bills mafia videos have opposing fans in them.

Their entire history has been the last 20 minutes of last year's Super Bowl. At least the Bills have an AFL title. And the Browns and Lions have never been as close to glory and never achieved it as the Vikings have been.

They've been conditioned to believe that they have to act like assholes because since childhood they've heard the "THEY BOOED SANTA CLAUS" narrative and think they have to live up to it.

In Philadelphia's defense (I can't believe I typed that), all of the fans did appear to be young. Real young. <21 years old young.

Teenagers can't handle their booze and are all assholes.

Philadelphia fans are the absolute worst. I remember when Michael Irvin broke his neck and was being carted out of old Veterans Stadium while Eagles fans where cheering like they just won the super bowl.

Even Eagles players at the time said they were disgusted by that

What does this mean? I've never seen anything in Baton Rouge remotely approaching the things that I've seen out of Philly fans from just this past Sunday.

Philly fans are world renowned for being assholes. LSU fans, not so much.
