The job Harbaugh is doing with LJ has been very impressive. But there's a lot of good ones. Who would you say is the best after Belichick?

John Harbaugh
Pete Carroll
Sean Payton
Andy Reid
Kyle Shanahan
Mike Tomlin
Add any others

hard to argue with what harbaugh has done this season, but i'd have to go with payton (who did a phenomenal job with brees down this year as well) and tomlin

I'm biased towards Payton but Andy Reid has been a damned good coach for a damned long time too.

Coaching probably Andy Reid but when it comes to winning either John Harbaugh or Sean Payton if that makes sense.

Reid is a fricking mastermind on offense, but I agree with that top three as far as overall HC's, they've managed to win with severely flawed rosters

It is so damn impressive how much Reid has adapted during his NFL career. It is hard for offensive coaches to stay ahead of defenses forever.

Have to have a ring to considered IMHO
Winning percentage with their current team
Tomlin .648
Carroll .635
Payton .626
Harbaugh .602

I’d go with Pete Carroll.

When he drafted Kolb from Houston he started incorporating a lot from what UH was running, which has also diffused throughout the FBS since then. Then he picked out Mahomes, traded up and started developing an offense for him

Is that including the year that was stolen from Payton?

no way is Harbaugh in the same class as the others. He won only bc of that elite defense that he had nothing to do with building.

Payton built the Saints amid franchise, city, and state chaos beyond comprehension. Tomlin wasn't handed the keys to the most stable franchise in the history of the NFL. Carroll is great, but Seattle has been a stable franchise for a long time. Not saying which of those three is the best, but no way is Harbaugh in their class. If you give that Ravens defense to Reid that Harbaugh had, Reid wins a lot more games than Harbaugh could count.

Zac Taylor. You can’t suck this bad without it being intentional. Must be a play for the #1 pick.

It’s really close between Payton and Carroll imo. The difference this season is what Payton was able to get from the team without Brees. I’m not so sure Carroll could do that with his MVP-level QB in Wilson

Harbaugh, Tomlin and Reid are also in the discussion.
