You talking about that bullshite COVID championship? That's a big asterisk

Luckily the Pels will never have to worry about random internet users discounting their championships with an asterisk

Pels won that trade. Lakers won this trade deadline. If Lakers don’t make these moves, Pels get a nice pick and Lakers blow it up.

This X1000 Lakers are legit now because of the moves they made at this seasons trade deadline

Pels did “win” the trade at the time. He was leaving irregardless and they got a nice haul for it.

The lakers won the trade after hand because they’ve had some success.

Pels have drafted horrible with the picks they’ve received and traded away all the pieces they got besides Brandon Ingram. Ingram has turned into an oft injured borderline all star though. So that’s somewhat nice

The pellies, especially when you consider how AD would only go to one team

Ingram, Zo, Hart a #4 and another lottery pick alone would be considered a win.

Just because our GM did something stupid with 4 doesn't change the trade values in hindsight. Imagine the comparison if we did what we should have done and just drafted Garland

If Utah squanders all the capital they got for Gobert, is anyone going to say they lost the trade? That's a textbook case of hindsight bias.
