Hornets
Knicks
Suns
Cavs

Then you have a 4 team playoff with them to determine who gets the number 1

The Hornets and Wizards have the worst futures due to roster management.

The Knicks will probably be worse this year. If Love can stay healthy, the Cavs will stay out of last this year.

An underrated contender is Memphis. I love Jackson, Morant and Clarke going forward, but they're young and the Griz don't have a lot else. I could see them taking their lumps this year and being at the bottom if one misses time.

It’s the Cavs.

Hornets actually have some talent and depth.

Damn, SUNS AGAIN?

They are starting to feel like the Timberwolves. Lots of talent and no cigar.

All they needed was a competent PG. They got one in Rubio.

I will be pissed if they can't take a leap forward with Booker, Ayton, and Rubio together.

Yeah, just those 3 keep them out of last.

Oubre was quietly pretty good, and they have some toughness in Saric and Bridges. They won't be great, but I don't see them being in contention for the worst.

Vegas has their o/u at 28.5
Only 5 teams lower
Grizzlies 27.5
Knicks and Wizards 26.5
Cavs 24.5
Hornets 23.5

I'm gonna be angry when we somehow win 19 games again this season.

I expect a leap. They have a solid 5. And some decent players off the bench should help them get close to 35 games.

The Cavs will turn Love into trade bait if he's healthy, which means they'll drop back below the Hornets on in-uniform talent.

As for the silly person who posted this:

Rubio is not, nor has he ever been a competent PG. He's been a *popular* player, who plays unselfish basketball. However, he's also the worst shooting player in the NBA since the Korean War. How much this warps the court for a modern NBA offense cannot be overstated-- he is a liability on the floor.

The Jazz learned the hard way that playing Rubio in meaningful minutes was death to an offense that already had one non-shooter. The Suns are going to learn the same lesson.

That Charlotte team winning 35 games would be one of the most amazing things I've seen in sports

That's really not the case.

Rubio has a 14.0 PER and .529 TSP.

Just among other terribe teams, Ntilikina had a 6.0 and .417 for the Knicks, Rozier had 12.9 and .501 and Sexton had 12.0 and .520. Rubio only shot 30% from 3 last year, but Ntilikina was .287.
