So Hansborough's stats and greatness has a lot to do with the UNC talent as well then, right?

And I know Henderson is a slasher and Curry is a shooter, but Henderson is a better guard than Ellington.

How would you rank these four?

Ellington
Curry
Henderson
Thornton

not really

because

A)he is the best player on the team

and

B)the offense runs through him

True, but the team he has around him definitely helps.

I can't make myself put Curry third.
The only thing I do know is that I'd take Ellington last out of those four, easily.

Obviously, considering Ty is POY, the most important player to UNC playing good basketball, and a better pro prospect. Hansborough didn't play the beginning of the season, UNC rolled. Ty was injured in the ACC tourney, they lose to FSU (who lost in the 1st round).

Offenses run through any decent PF/C. TH benefits from having a stellar supporting cast.

how many times could he have?

he doesnt have great slashing ability...plain and simple

so in other words, no way he could duplicate what Curry has done the last 2 years

you dont know if he could so its all specualtion

ellington is a MUCH better defender, and hits shot after shot when he is needed

yall really underestimate how much curry gets bc his league and team are not good

you would take him last bc he gets the least pub of all of them. you are probably a simple minded guy who just goes with what others tell you

you can blame stars all you want, but ellington was the highest rated player for a reason

The NCAA Tournament was ridiculous last year. And he is going to dominate the NIT this year, if that means anything.

This is a tough one either way. Ellington plays on a team full of stars so there really is no way to tell if he could carry a team the way Curry has. When Ellington is off, the other guys step up and it doesn't even matter. When Curry is off, they have no shot at winning. It is probably close either way as of right now IMO.

the point is that the offense isnt run where he is the fricking main guy, and its the point ive been saying for a year now

when its his turn to make something happen, he does

marcus thornton would put up the same numbers at davidson than curry

I actually think Marcus Thornton will be a decent pro one day. A solid starter. He can create his own shot with the best of them and that is what the NBA is all about IMO for the 2 guard spot. How far off from that 6'4 is he really?
