I went to HS with Robert’s sister Liz. She was 6’2”, looked just like him but didn’t play basketball. I never asked her why.
Another fun fact: The radio voice for Centenary during that era was none other than the recently retired Voice of the LSU Tigers, Jim Hawthorne

OP - I agree. NCAA did overkill on this case.

I remember looking at the back of his basketball card as a kid (late 80s/early 90s) and seeing he played at Centenary, which I thought was neat because LSU played them in baseball every February.
