Carson Baranik just pitched a complete game with 84 pitches.

And faced 1 over the minimum

Yeah, it's pretty juvenile.

I call them USL because this is how I know them, but it's petty bullshite to crap on their season thus far.

I'd say the majority of us still wish the school was USL

Outside of that, he's got a 1.42 ERA.

So take out his bad outings and his ERA is similar to LSU's #3 guy. And LSU is far from great.

Take out his 1 bad outing all year which can be attributed to injury and his ERA is top 25 in the country.

Statements like this is how I know that it is just blind hate that you have. Have you watched Robichaux play this year? I'm an LSU fan but i'll give ULL their due this year. Can we beat them in a series? Damn right, but they would be the favorites right now. We just lost 2/3 to a piss poor TAMU team.

Have you figured out where his ERA would rank if you took out everyone else's 1 bad outing? Top 200?

Jesus Christ. You're being intentionally obtuse, so I'm not going to argue with an idiot.

The pitchers are also afforded the opportunity to not have to try and throw shutouts every game. It makes a big difference knowing your team is going to score runs when you're pitching.

Agreed.

And truly there is a 90% chance IMO that USL and LSU will face each other postseason prior to the CWS, so why be a dick about it now. If USL is undeserving and LSU is better, it will likely be settled on the diamond.

LSU just needs to handle it's own business before fans start calling out other teams.

ULL has managed to out-hit their opponent in 2 of the last 8 games.
