I was only six at the time but what about Chris Jackson or Mohammed Abdul-Rauf or whatever his name is/was.

I have always wondered what numbers Sterling Sharpe could have put up had he not suffered the spinal injury that cut his career short by at least five years. He averaged 105 rec, 1285 yd, and 14 TD in the three years that he played with Favre in Green Bay. He never would have passed Rice, but I think he would be the clear choice as the #2 wide receiver of all time.

Len Bias

If he had gone on to play on that 1986 Celtics team w/ Larry Bird, Danny Ainge, Kevin McHale, Bill Walton and Robert Parrish that wouldve been the greatest NBA team of all time

The Len Bias story has been done to death (no pun intended). I agree with the poster on page 1 that a story on Ronnie Fields would be an excellent pick imo.

Article on basketball legends

Including Earl The Goat and Helicopter Knowings

This is stuff of legends, I love this era when NBA guys use to still play in the summer on neiborhood outdoor courts.

Played some playground basketball myself back in the day in Cleveland. Not unusual to see Clark Kellogg, Sweet Lou Soloman, Austin Carr and others out there.
