They just happen to be the BEST OF THE BEST.

Um ok, what does that have to do with anything? If its true, why should LSU root for them, that makes no sense? But if there were so good, why did they lose at home to A freaking freshman running an offense people like you swore could not work in the SEC? FACT is, they get more breaks than other teams. A lot easier to win NC's when you get 2nd chances that others don't.

I think Oregon is the best team this year. But they won;t get the chance that Bama got last year. FACT

quote:

Miles and LSU could be there if Miles would get his head out of his arse. FACT. Sorry its true

sorry, that's false, but it makes you and the rantards feel better. None of the bad calls in the Bama game this year cost LSU. The fake FG was followed by a 3 and out. The "Warecat" 4th and 1 was followed by a 3 and out. The onside kick lead to a fumble by TJ Yeldon. BTW on that drive they ran Yeldon 6 straight times, but only Miles offense is predictable. But i digress. Its very ironic that one the one hand people bitch that he didn't try something different on 1/9 and on the other bitch because he did on 11/3.

What is a FACT is we beat Bama at Bama last year,. They needed and unfortunately got the breaks they needed to get back in. Just like they needed breaks this year. They are obviously very good, but also very lucky.

quote:

Sorry its true.Tell me ONE other team that has more overall talent[besides Bama] Than LSU??????

The only other team we've lost to is Florida, who has similar talent., that was also on the road and we had some key injuries in the game that hurt us.

Here's some more facts for you. There were more Bama players drafted last year than LSU 8 to 5. They have more players projected to be picked this year 8-10 vs 7-8. The last 5 years, Bama has ranked higher in recruiting rankings every year.

No of this has anything to do with the topic of this thread.

This would be bama's 3rd title in 4 years and they're going to be loaded again next year. it seems to me like they're passing up everyone including others in the conference. why would you want that?

Because some people can't see the big picture.

Because LSU BEAT THEM DOWN. Not on the scoreboard , BUT in every other factor.

Tebow WON A NC with this type offense.

You can say what you want, But LSU gets JUST as many NON-CALLS as Bama.

They should have beaten Stanford then.

If Copeland DOES NOT commit a PF on a very great run by Hill to get inside the 10 yard line.. THAT game WOULD have been different.

YUP.

Did they DESERVE to be there??? NO. But THAT really doesn't matter. LSU could NOT get it done when it counted most.

I would pull for UGa if they got in, because we don't play them every year or battle for recruits that often.

I get what you're saying, but we did get Kelvin Sheppard, Perry Riley, Kevin Minter, Derrick Bryant and Vadal Alexander out of the state of GA.

Only recent guy of note I can think of out of AL is Kwon.

Since Bama is the SEC's best program hands down, Bama dominance is SEC dominance.

I'm not talking about calls, I could care less about calls, you're right those go both ways (though what happened at Auburn in 2006 was a crime )

I mean things beyond their control that helps them get into the NC game after a loss. Like OSU missing a FG, Oregon and KSU losing etc.

They should have beaten Stanford then.

That's what I mean. Bama can lose and get back in, but others can't. This is one of many reason's why I don't we should judge coaches in college FB based on "rings". NC are still largely a popularity contest. Not to say that Saban and Bama aren't grea, because they are, but the fact is they get chances other's would not and for the record, LSU, Fla and pretty much any SEC will because of the NC run which is absurd, because what conference the MNC was in, in 2006 has no bearing on who is the best team this year.
