Mayfield wasn't very great at tech. He then suddenly, in his very first season at OU, is a monster. I know he's talented but he is playing in a system that churns out big stat qbs every year. I'd take him in the 2nd but I have no faith in him to go top 5 and lead a team to wins by himself. Rosen and Darnold imo can carry teams. Baker cannot

i meant you cant compare ou's offense to anyone uga has played*. i think ou beats uga fwiw. no sec teams in championship game.

You think Brady isn't more competitive than, say, Cutler? Intensity and competitive nature is absolutely a differentiator between pro-level talent. I'm not saying that's Mayfield's x-factor, but it does exist.

Vick was the first absolute THREAT running as a QB. If he came into the league today, after NFL figured out that type QB with Kaep and RG3. Wouldn't nearly produce like he did.
