The A’s since LaRussa left put together a great young nucleus, make it to the brink of success, and then everyone leaves.
This cycle has repeated itself 3-4 times now.
Plus they play in a shitty stadium and the Giants have won 3 championships in that time.

Has to be the Browns.
Other than the fumble, they've never really been close to a Super Bowl. They lost their team to Baltimore, who proceeds to win a Super Bowl a few years later and become one of the most consistent franchises in football.
They get their franchise back and proceeded to become more horrific than they were before relocation, and Haslem is sneakily the worst NFL owner save for Snyder.
Not to mention the fact that the last coach who won a playoff game for them proceeded to become the greatest coach in NFL history with another franchise a few years after they fired him.
