The gate graffiti was a problem, but it wasn’t the real problem for me with Lebron. When he decided to act like he cared about human rights and then went silent and only wanted to be a basketball player after Daryl Morey tweeted support for Hong Kong, I realized just how hypocritical Lebron James was.
No, he is not a leader. He is dedicated to basketball, and that’s fine. But Laura Ingraham was right about shut up and dribble, and he proved that with his conspiracy of silence with the NBA on Hong Kong. So frick Lebron for pretending he gives a shite about human rights and anyone anointing him a leader of anything. Play basketball and then go away.
