You're absolutely 100% wrong. You are so negative. Are you this negative about everything in life.

Oh...and you don't even know shite about baseball. So how can you claim to know how good the Rangers are?

Ah, the man of the hour!

Ogando has what it takes to be a starter... Look at his stats.

Yu is a strikeout pitcher in Texas. He's going to have a high PC and WILL get worn down faster than someone pitching in Minnesota.

Honest question....
In June Yu did this
2.31 ERA
6 GS
39 Inninggs
29 hits allowed
10 earned runs allowed
46 strike outs
opponents hit .197 against him
15 walks allowed

Where is the decline at? Because he doesn't go 8 innings?

Read the OP again. Do you not remember my post about the Japanese Fade? That was a response to it (and my one about when they should be sellers).

BS I don't. I may end up being wrong about a 4th place finish but I will be right about the Rangers not making the playoffs.

(Which BTW will give JD the excuse he needs to fire Ron-he shouldn't but he's wanted to since the cocaine incident).

The decline is there is no decline.

As I stated a second ago (and it was also pointed out by a certain MLB pitcher on here) is that it's hot as balls in Texas in the summer... And it DEFINITELY affects them. Couple that with a strikeout pitcher and you've got a recipe for not so long of outings.

How about the 1-1 record and 5 HR's given up during June?

Actually since the Detroit game he's 1-3 with 8 home runs surrendered. (With half of those given up ON THE ROAD, not at the RBIA Jetstream.)

And his W-L record doesn't include the horrible no-decision showings he had @Arizona, @New York, and vs. Oakland at home. He could easily be 1-6 during that stretch.

Jesus F Christ...he's got no fricking run support since the end of May...but because you don't know what you're talking about you don't cite that, do you.

Are you opposed to the Rangers signing Tomohiro Anraku?

and you want Kershaw?
He went 1-2 in June with 3 home runs given up, opponents hit .213 against him, he only struck out 36 in 34 innings.... Japanese Fade Part II

One of the losses (the Oakland one) was due to lack of run support and that was a hard luck one.

But in the other two he was hit hard and often. Five runs in six innings against HOUSTON? Four walks to that sorry offense?

bullshite. He's gotten virtually no run support since late May.

Stop ignoring that. It's true.

Eight home runs since the Detroit game, four walks in each of his last two games, five runs against HOUSTON.

Unless he's getting 7-8 runs a game behind him there's very little any offense can do to overcome that.

You do not understand baseball. You have convinced me of this. There's no sense in debating you any further.

Oh and I have tickets for tomorrow nights game.

If Yu does well then it will be because my GF and I were there. Nolan can go ahead and get us season tickets. And I work right by Alliance Airport--I can hop on the charter after work to help them win on the road.
