Kareem Abdul Jabbar is the Greatest of all time AND had the most unstoppable shot in the history of basketball.
I might even say Bird and Magic were better than Lebron and MJ.
Well , Pat Riley eecently said that Magic Johnson is the Greatest player of all time and he's seem them all.
This thing about an individual GOAT is ridiculous.

One thing that I dont believe many folks account for is the amount of talent Lebron has played while losing in the finals.
You can blame Lebron for that first loss against the Spurs, as well as the Mavs series. He definitely did not play his best during those series. He has grown tremendously as a player and leader since then.
That Spurs team in 14 was amazing, and they were on a mission to not lose two years in a row. Also the Warriors team in 15 was pretty darn good as well. I would argue that one of MJ's lesser championship teams would have struggled with those teams as well.
The KD Warriors tho, please. I say with extreme confidence that MJ never faced a team as stacked as that. The 95 Bulls could beat them in a 7-game series. But overall I still take GS in that matchup, period.

Straight up nothing LeBron could've done that 07 Finals was gonna overcome the Spurs, they were too stacked and that Cavs team too inferior I actually thought he played ok that Finals wasn't the choke job like the Mavs Finals

Mj shot 41% in the nba finals against the sonics - his team still won
I don't think LeBron has ever had that luxury
MJ won 6 titles, I don't think he's ever had that luxury.
Are we taking crazy pills. Now winning is luck?

Can thank Dennis Rodman's exceptional defensive play for that, dude was a MONSTER that series and was 35 years old too

I agree with that. Tim Duncan in his prime, Lebron wasn't overcoming that at all.
I was saying I can see how he may receive some blame especially considering the Cavs were straight up swept. They never had a prayer.
One could give credit tho, that Lebron took his team to the finals sooner in his career than Jordan. But then again, early in Jordan's career. he had to deal with a prime Bird, as well as Bad Boys'. Lebron did not play any teams on that level in the East early on.

I mean I can't really blame him for those series because he played so prolifically in them IDK what happened with the Orlando series such a long time ago. Boston I understood because of their Big 3 plus Rondo and Perkins. Sometimes it's that case of the whole being greater than the sum in some series.

There are plenty of stats that would support Wilt Chamberlain as the GOAT

More games played among other variables.
but STAT only stands for so much.

I will end this thread right here and now.
I am the biggest MJ fan you will ever meet. Yet, I can tell you with a clear conscious (although high right now) that Lebrizzle my shizzle is the GOAT.
How do I know this?
Because I raise GOATS. No, seriously I do. GOATS have a very symbolic and strategic way of letting you know they are the GOAT. First they like to piss on you, not like R. Kelly, but like wolves. It is letting you know they are the GOAT. Second of all they like to climb trees. Ive found my goats in the trees eating oak leaves and I knew I had the GOAT.
So, that makes Lebron THE GOAT.
Wrao this thread up. Did I mention Im high? Good night.

LeBron brings the ball up 90% time. Entire offense runs through him. MJ never did that

Not only that he held the franchise hostage the entire summer and retired a month before the 1994 season started, not providing them enough time to sign a good free agent and basically relegating them to signing PETE frickING MYERS off the CBA as replacement. Kind of a dick move on his part oh well.

WHEN he made the Finals, which last I checked was 6 of his 15 NBA seasons, what was he doing the other 9 if he's this GOAT?
Playing in a league with fewer teams and no free agency for the first 7

One of his first games back he dropped 55 on the Knicks in the Garden, another he drilled a game-winner in the Omni, he averaged 32-6-6 in his first playoff series back against the Hornets and as the lower seed, dude reacclimated himself to the league pretty darn well with such short notice in my estimation

It takes longer than 60 days it’s rast to bring up 2 nights. When he was zoned in he dominated the league and WON the finals. Actually the real finals start Monday not in June!!
