I hope the Noles win today since there is a better chance of them losing later on in the Season than OU. I do agree with you that they are overrated but so is OU.

This is a report card game for both of these 2 teams. I would reserve calling both of these teams "overrated" until after this game.

Bama won on the road in dominating fashion in the most hostile environment saban has over coached in, per him....the noles have beaten creampuffs...not to mention bama has been top5 program last few years and its proven we are worthy of the lofty ranking

Last few years don't have shite to do with this year. The only thing Bama has done to prove its ranking, is beat Penn St on the road convincingly.

The only game OU has won was against Tulsa. Tonight's game will help show if either team is "overrated".

Bama and OU have proven their current players and system are amongst the elite, yes couting last year. A lot of same players and coaches. On the other hand there is 0 evidence for the noles

Counting last year, ACC championship game appearance, conniving win over SEC East champion in bowl game, convincing win over SEC East runner-up in regular season. Second year of the Jimbo era, and another top recruiting class. A lot of same players and coaches return this year.

More I think about it, the SEC is sooooo tough, but it looks like FSU would have been in Atlanta last year if they were in the conference.

Edit: no wonder the East is trying to block FSU's entrance.

OU is not a great road team. FSU could easily win this game

i think FSU can out-athlete OU at most positional groups

the QB edge goes to OU, but some of that edge is lost being on the road (like you said). that makes a big difference

i think last year was the stepping stone year for FSU, but i don't know if they're back to teh elite yet

i got FSU only b/c it's @ FSU. OU will likely win though (i also picked clemson b/c it's @ Clemson, and that may be the most retarded pick em pick i've ever made. i'm hoping to split the 2 games)

To me this game will hinge on FSU's D. (watch this turn into a shootout )

The D is the selling point of this FSU team, and FSU will need them to prove their mettle if they are going to win. Because as mentioned, OU has the better QB and offense. I'm not sure FSU's O can keep up in a shootout. Also, I am looking for special teams to make a big play for the Noles in order for them to win.

I'm heading off to the game. I'm really just hoping that it is a competitive matchup this year unlike last.

Isn't Landry Jones' road record kinda shitty?

But this has NOTHING to do with tonight. You make it sound like FSU has zero chance and should just not even show up.

OU should win if they take care of the ball and don't turn it over. they're the better team. Ponder was a good QB and they'll miss him, Manuel has 12 tds and 12 ints in his career, only 6 tds if you take out the two creampuffs they played the first 2 games this season.
