lacco outplayed Brady btw.
Yeah I know, I was ultra pissed when the kicker missed the fg too.

Your right, clock management is for the birds.

you obviously didn't watch the game or don't know shite about football if you think brees showed poor clock management in that game. any coach would take the points anyway
Absolute truth. I, for one, am not trying to argue that Brees is better than Brady in the playoffs or whenever, i just couldn't let ridiculous attempt at an argument pass without ridiculing it

when was the last time Brady was clutch in the playoffs?

Who is the last one to make it to a superbowl?
These kinds of questions can go on and on.

how was that poor clock management? should we not go for a first down 66 yards away?

Never said poor.
Could have shown better and won the game though.

I know this is hard for someone of your feeble intelligence to comprehend, but a 20 yard pass with 2 minutes to go, 60 something yards away from the end zone, is not poor 'clock management.' Any NFL coach trusts their defense not to give up a sub-2 minute drill touchdown with an entire field to go. Even when that defense has been playing poorly.
Perhaps you would have preferred the Saints whittle the clock down to five seconds and go for a hail mary?

2006, and yet Brees still isn't as clutch as Brady in the playoffs. Brady was ridiculous his first couple of years in the playoffs. Even if NO had held on to win, he would still have half as many game winning drives.
And if you want to talk clutch, then Eli Manning is more clutch then Brees.

I've already admitted Brady is the better qb over his career.
he was the one claiming that Brady is unquestionably number 1 right now
he was the one claiming that Brady is unquestionably number 1 right now

Everything here is just one stat
QB Rating
River - 96
Ben - 92
Eli - 82
Eli Manning is completely inferior

This statement is complete bullshite. Do you know how often teams practice that very drill for those exact situations?
Regardless of scoring that touchdown at that instance, he was going to score. NO ONE'S defense was stopping anything at that point.
To think in the playoffs, a team whose D hasn't stopped anything will automatically stand strong the last minute of the game to decide who win is laughable.

You just said it yourself, not only is he the number 1 Qb over his career, but he is getting stronger later in career. His 4 highest Qb ratings for a season have come in the past 5 years, with him missing an entire year in 2008. His last 5 year Qb rating average is well north of 105. That is insane.

We've stood strong in that situation all year. We had the clock. In our favor.
regardless, we scored on a 15 yard pass from 66 yards out.

Getting all these post mixed up.
But damn do I hate Brady.
Making millions, good looking, smoking hot wife. He doesn't deserve all 3.

when did I say he was getting stronger?
I think Rodgers is better than both of them

Right, so my point - that NFL head coaches expect their defense to do their job- was bullshite but yours- that Brees was going to score anyway (so he might as well have ran the clock down to a few seconds) - ISNT infantile and based on absolute, childish conjecture?

You didn't, I was pointing out that you were saying he's been the number 1 Qb over his career. And I was saying, that not only was he getting stronger later in his career in which his numbers were as good if not better then Brees', and then you factor in his career, which is why I haven't rated Rodgers number 1, well you get the number 1 Qb in the NFL right now.
