What I saw said 26 times in 52 games. What is the average?
26 lost fumbles, 38 total fumbles
Even if you only use the 26 number, averaging a fumble every other game is not a great sign

What are Dree Brees’ stats? Doesn’t he have the most fumbles for a qb? I’m sure there’s a formula used to compare productivity vs turnovers

Comparing the sample size of a 20 year hall of famer vs a college QB doesn’t really make sense but Brees had 125 fumbles in 287 career games including the postseason. Comes out to around .40 average fumbles (not lost) a game.
Pickett fumbled 38 times in 52 games at the collegiate level which is .73 average per game.
So he nearly doubled the rate of fumbling in a lesser league in comparison to brees
ETA and if you use the fumbles lost numbers, which are a bit harder to find but Brees lost 40 career fumbles (.13 per game) while Pickett was exactly at a .50 average by the same metric
So not only did he double the rate of fumbling in comparison to Brees career, he quadrupled the rate of actually lost fumbles. Which recovering fumbles is pretty flukey so I wouldn’t hold that against anyone really but clearly there’s a big issue with ball protection by Kenny Pickett

I like how many of y’all just have a tape measure or ruler hanging around.

Yup. Stretch your hand out and measure from the tip of the pinky to the tip of thumb
9 and 7/8ths.
You sure it isn't from the tip of the middle finger to the crease below the palm?
