You were safe.

Florida fans are complete and utter pussies now pre and during game. Its after, and if they've won, that they get all chest-bumpy (convenient, huh?).

In the old days though, when you were able to leave at half time, go across the street to the Purple porpoise, get tanked, and come back in the stadium for the second half - different story.

LSU vs Iowa sucked horribly. The night before the game Iowa fans were talking plenty of shite then all game sucked until JR came in. I thought we had it then a bullshite blown coverage hailmary with missed holds happens. I went into a depression for about a month after that one. Then LSU vs aubarn in 06 the flag being picked up at the end made me want to puke the celebration of knowing we have a first down to being fricked like that sucked then buster davis going down at the 3. If JR throws the ball on a line to davis he scores.

Saints having that huge lateral play and actually getting a TD with it, and only needing an extra point to Tie the game up, Saints kicker (carney?) misses the extra point.....

Our biddy basketball team lost 94-3. That is no typo. The closest game was 50-13. Most were 60 something or 70 something to single digits. We also lost 84-7. I did have to points in the 94-3 loss though.

EDIT: What the frick? I only saw the thread title and thought it was a personal sports moment in which you participated.

2002. Saints vs Panthers. Saints were 9-6 and needed to beat a 6-9 Carolina team who was last in our division AND had a 35 year old Rodney Peete as their starting QB. But of course we have the great Aaron Brooks who had that shoulder injury at that time. We were coming off a loss at a 1-13 Cinci team, and needed to win ONE game to make the playoffs the past three weeks. I remember everytime Brooks ran on to the field to the huddle, the WHOLE dome booed him. Not to mention, we have a healthy backup QB on the sidelines with his helmet on wanting to go in by the name of Jake Delhomme. Sure enough we lose.....Brooks smiles when he throws his last pick to clinch the loss(it was on TV), and then Haslett has the nerve to bash the fans on the WWL post game show saying that we didn't support Brooks. Now, I'm a huge Saints fan, but it was hard to enjoy games and be optimistic the next two years.

Did you see the a-hole throw his Iowa helmet at us after it happened? There were people ready to fight.

My mom got hit in the head with it. Cops didn't care.

I don't have any "worst sports moments"

And I mean by that they are all equally awful....from Ohio St to the Indians to the Cavs to the Jags.
