Maybe New Orleans should get a USL soccer team. Many of them (including the Las Vegas Lights FC) play in current or former baseball stadiums.

I imagine if they don't find a use the Saints/Pelicans will go out of there way to buy it for the land.

It’s a shite hole. It shouldn’t be used for minor league baseball. I’ve seen better facilities in the Cape Cod league.

Tulane is landlocked and Gayle is on the board of Tulane isn't she? Maybe she buys it and give the stadium and the land to Tulane to build some of it's athletic facilities or a satellite campus.

They definitely wouldn't put any athletic facilities out there and they already have a satellite campus not far away in Elmwood.

They could just toss some money at Tad Gormley to spruce it up if they wanted that. Way cheaper than demoing Zephyr and building a new facility.
